Sustainability journey
Environmental
We strive to decrease our energy consumption and keep today’s energy mix. Plastic packaging material is recycled and there is a transition to a greater proportion of cardboard. Planning and optimisation of the amount of components per shipment is another example where SGA tries to take their enviromental responsibility to reduce the CO2 emissions.

We are in the top 1% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Wholesale of electronic and Telecommunications Equipment and parts industry.
We have improved our CO2 footprint e.g. by reusing plastic packaging materials and transition to more paper-based materials. Less amount of transportations due to customer cooperation for increased number of components per shipment is also a positive contribution.
Social
As a company with production facility, safety at work is of high importance with regular safety inspections and continuous improvements and we are proud of the track record we have had over the past years.
Diversity and inclusion – SGA’s ambition is to reflect the society in terms of equality, although competence and suitability will always be important. So far we almost have 20% female employees and some of us come from abroad. We have introduced health-promoting activities for our employees and attended at local sport event.
Target
Support a local social community initiative.

Governance
At SGA, the business areas are accountable for their sustainability performance with support from the management board who defines action plans and ensures resource availability to deliver on targets. SGA’s board of directors reviews and approves plans and targets.
Our responsible supply chain agreement broadens the scope of impact.
